RUBINI

This perfume brand traces its origins to the Rubini family, which has been immersed in the perfume business for several generations. It represents an exciting fusion of Italian history and the enduring passion passed down through generations. Launched in 2015, RUBINI PROFUMI now consists of four fragrances, each delving into different elements and eras.

At the forefront is Andrea Rubini, the driving force behind the brand, who values family traditions and embraces the challenge of being one of the most experimental figures in the niche perfume world. Thanks to the skillful creative work of perfumer Cristiano Canali, each shade is accentuated, and every element blends harmoniously without overpowering. This represents an Italian and audacious olfactory project, pushing the boundaries of creativity beyond what has already been achieved.

ANDREA BISSOLI RUBINI likes the word "surprise", the one that strikes the mind, eyes, smell sedimenting in the depths and bringing back the emotion under the skin.

The founder of RUBINI PROFUMI comes from a family with a rich history in perfumery.

Andrea’s grandfather, Pietro, started a small perfumery business in Verona, Northern Italy, in 1937 after returning from the Italo-Ethiopian war. This post-war venture became the foundation of the RUBINI family.

«To create RUBINI fragrances I take inspiration from the historic perfumes I mostly admire that are bound together with my family memories. Complexity, balance, and creativity are key factors I strongly admire and I believe are what makes perfume become a “classic”. RUBINI aims to create timeless perfumes beyond fashion.

CRISTIANO CANALI is a perfumer born in Italy and studied Pharmacy before developing a passion for perfumery. Cristiano is known for his creative approach to perfumery. Cristiano's most-appreciated fragrances were created for Guerlain, Caron, YSL, Serge Lutens, and Frederic Malle, and now he is dedicating his talent to RUBINI. “The challenge was to encase and incorporate all the inputs, suggestions and expectations in unique fragrances.

The perfumes of the Rubini house are a balanced mix of contrasts and harmony."

TAMBOUR SACRE

The creative mind behind the design of the cases is Italian artist Francesca Gotti. The flacons are cradled between two distinctive sides, presenting themselves like sculptures awaiting unveiling. On the other hand, "Tambour Sacré" is enclosed in a case made of iroko wood sourced from a tree considered sacred by many African peoples.

NUVOLARI

The cases for "Fundamental" and "Nuvolari" are crafted from resinous Glebanite®, a remarkable material that resembles antique stone but is, in fact, as light as air. This unique substance is made from the recycled fiberglass carcasses of boats retrieved from the numerous lagoons surrounding the Italian coastline.
